Krunal is a corporate professional turned entrepreneur and carries 20+ years of experience in developing, managing, and transacting in a variety of select-service and full-service segments across various geographies around the world. He successfully creates, leads, and executes small to large cap business solutions to increase business value within commercial, operations, and financial departments. He is a tactical and dynamic executive who is an effective communicator and can bridge gaps between multiple stakeholders, with the use of various performance strategies. He has proven success by leveraging multiple departments and support teams. Krunal is known for adaptability, business acumen, needs assessment, scalability, change management, strategic thinking, execution, and leadership.
Krunal’s startup spirit started at a young age when he worked at small retail shops in the UK working for his neighbor’s stores. After moving to the US, he transitioned into the family hospitality business where he worked in all facets including operations, customer support, financial analysis, payroll, HR, acquisition, and selling. Krunal joined the University of Georgia, where he studied international business with a focus on finance, Spanish, and leadership. After graduating summa cum laude in 2007, he worked in corporate consulting leading Fortune 1000 companies to achieve their strategic goals. He is proud to be a strategic advisor for companies and see the benefits emerge. Some of these benefits are multi-million tax savings, standardization in processes, consolidating and unifying systems, creating internal support processes to increase focus on core business, world supply chain streamlining, technology and business road mapping, and implementing standard operating procedures for newly defined companies and departments. After 15 years in the corporate ecosystem and angel investing, Krunal decided to cultivate his entrepreneurial spirit and went back to his roots to carry on the family journey.
Krunal created Connected Capital Company an investment firm whose mission is to educate, guide, and connect investors to wealth-creation opportunities. As an angel investor for 9 years, he wants to pay it forward and provide access and guidance. One of his guiding principles is “Learn from everyone, apply the good, ditch the bad.” This guiding principle has helped him successfully close 8 fund-of-fund opportunities since June of 2021.
Krunal is very involved in mentoring and advising small businesses. He advises on fundraising, capital & deal introductions, strategy, and road mapping. He is very eager to network and connect others in areas outside of his depth. Krunal is considered a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multitask. This allows him to coordinate projects that do not diminish other aspects of the business. One of his famous mottos is “life is a jigsaw puzzle – you need the vision to see the big picture, the skill to identify each piece, and the ability to zoom in on a specific subset while always keeping the grand scheme in mind.”
Outside of solutioning, Krunal is a born leader by overseeing multiple team members and stakeholders. At one time, he was managing up to 80 people on and offshore to ensure project success. He is a liaison and the glue across multiple stakeholders within a company and outside stakeholders. Krunal has managed nearly 50 million dollars and led a 20 million international strategic partnership.
Krunal’s style is to be hands-on, genuine, authentic, and energetic. He thinks it is important to manage cost along with revenue generating solutions. His ability to scale in a practical and tactical manner sets him apart from others. His entrepreneurial family history and corporate background has acted as a transformational agent in bringing him up as a versatile strategic advisory with deep knowledge in operations & supply chain, project management, technology, intercompany & transfer pricing, and financial integration.
Krunal has worked in North America, Latin America, and European nations within the high tech, government, commodity trading, chemical manufacturing, deal management, engineering & construction, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, environmental sustainability, hospitality, retail, private equity, and venture capital ecosystem.
